1. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENTS – CHECKS AND TROUBLE-SHOOTING

At GISB, we hold the above range of equipments to assist us in the trouble-shooting of problematic automatic irrigation systems. Faults and problems associated with wires and leaking pipes can be easily located and then rectified. Earth resistance testers are used to check groundings for Central, controllers, etc.

2. Our protection against lightning

GROUNDING AND SURGE PROTECTION

The tested and proven IGSB’s Electrolytic Grounding System coupled with necessary In-Line Surge Protectors will go along way to ensure that your equipment is well protected against lightning surges.

COMPLETE PROTECTION !

Due to the possibility of severe damages to Central Control Systems by lightning and power surges, we will install additional renowned In-Line Surge Protectors to ensure that these very critical items are not damaged by lightning or power surges. In the event of very severe surges, these In-Line Surge Protectors shall be blown and damages to the Central Control Systems if any will be minimal. The above schematic plans are representative of what we installed at NSRCC, Kranji, Singapore.

	Stock, Supply of loaner stocks for all Hunter, RAINBIRD and TORO and controller boards .
	Stock, Supply of loaner stocks for RAINBIRD Central MIM boards and Hunter Central Surveyor and IMM 3 boards.
	Stock and supply of loaner stocks including servicing and repairs for Weather Station.
	Stock and supply of loaner stocks, service and repairs of Lightning Detection Protection System including Central Control Panel and Field Interface Protectors.
	Stock, supply and installation of In-Line/Parallel Surge Protectors to minimize damages caused by lightning and power surge especially for Central Control System.
	Database entry, programming and fine-tune Centrals. Fine-tuning the watering programs and hydraulic tree may shorten the watering window, reduction in the number of duty pumps, etc. Additional programming for add-ons of sprinklers.
	Improvement of Grounding for Controllers, Central, Pump Station and Weather Station using IGSB’s Electrolytic Grounding System that can greatly reduce earth resistances and provide good and lasting grounding. IGSB has carried out extensive R & D on this very critical component of the automatic irrigation system that will minimise damages due to lightning strikes and power surge.
	Cleaning and servicing of controllers at site.
	Training on the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems complete with maintenance form, trouble-shooting guides and very simple methods to create new watering programs.
	Service and repair of RAINBIRD Central Maxi Interface Module (MIM).
	Supply and installation of ESID (Electrical Storm Identification Device) c/w sirens and control system.
	Trouble-shooting, rectifications and upgrading of Pump Control Panel for Constant Speed and VFD Pump Stations.
	Service, repair pumpsets and motors for Vertical Turbines, Vertical Multistage and End Suction Centrifugal pumps.
	Provide protection for pumpsets against corrosion for golf courses with saline water conditions.
	Supply, install automatic shut down of controllers c/w control panel and rain check to ensure progressive shut down of controllers so as to prevent unnecessary watering (saves energy) and provide protection for controllers.
	Provide and upgrade RAINBIRD controllers using PAR+ upgrade kits.
	Provide on call maintenance and repairs for pipeworks, valves, controllers, Central, pump station, etc.
	Upgrade lake intakes at existing irrigation ponds to limit entry of rubbish, sand, etc.
	Provide detailed take-offs for overseas automatic irrigation systems c/w technical details and shop drawings.
	Provide site supervisory, training and technical support for overseas automatic irrigation works c/w designs, shop drawings, flow management calculations, matching of local and imported products, etc.
	Design, consultancy and supervisory works for overseas irrigation system
